The AK-EC-15 charger is a response to the needs of electric vehicle users. The built-in LED display enables you to monitor the charging parameters. This gives you an overview of the continuous charging process of your vehicle. The long 5 metre cable will allow free access to the charging socket in almost any situation. This way, you can be sure that the type 1 plug will reach your car without any problems. What's more, the charger is equipped with an IEC 60309 plug, which is used to power high-powered devices. This will allow you to quickly charge your car with a current of 32 A, giving you up to 7.2 kW of power. In order to ensure that the charging process runs smoothly, it is important to have access to a robust electrical installation and correctly fitted safety devices.
The charger has a ControlBox, which allows you to view and adjust the current. It allows you to follow charging information, such as the temperature of the charger and the time remaining to charge. In addition, below the display, there are buttons with which you can adjust the current. The panel offers as many as 5 current values to choose from: 6, 10, 16, 20 and 32 A, thanks to which you can be sure that your electric car will not draw more current than it should.
The charger has been equipped with necessary, high-class protections. This ensures trouble-free and efficient charging of your vehicle. The device also has a convenient handle on the back of the housing, which allows you to hang the charger, for example, on the wall of your garage.
Overcurrent protection. The charger will switch off if it detects an overload of the stabiliser.
Thermal protection protects against overheating of the power supply, which could result in damage.
Protection against overvoltage at the charger's output. Protects the device being charged from damage.
The built-in temperature sensor in the plug ensures safety and protects against the consequences of overheating the battery in the car. Thanks to a suitable controller, the device regulates the parameters so as to maintain the optimum temperature during the charging process.

In addition, the charger has been designed to withstand the harsh conditions specified by the IP54 sealing class. The materials from which it is made are extremely durable and resistant. Therefore it is not threatened by dirt or splashing. In addition, the plug has been protected by a plug, which protects the contacts against flooding or accidental damage.
In addition to the previously mentioned handle located in the casing, each Akyga® AK-EC-15 charger comes with a transport bag. This is a very practical solution, which allows to keep order and provides additional protection for the charger's cables.
